About Judy Leavitt

Judy Leavitt, Ed.D. is a senior clinician, licensed psychologist and Diplomate Certified Sex Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples and groups. Through her experience she has learned the importance of deep and meaningful relationships with oneself and with others. In her work she helps clients gain a greater understanding of their issues and develop specific skills for solving dilemmas and implementing changes in their lives. People work with Judy on immediate concerns and/or deeper underlying issues. Her work is at once insightful, balanced and compassionate.

Dr. Leavitt maintains a private practice in Wayland, MA as well as teaches couple therapy and human sexuality at William James College (formerly Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology). She also taught at Interface in Cambridge and for 14 years at the Smith School of Social Work. In 1993 she was chosen as “Teacher of the Year” at Interface. Judy advised family businesses for fifteen years as a Senior Consultant with Transition Consulting Group in Weston, MA. During that time she also taught "Managing the Family Business" for several years at Boston University Graduate School of Management.
